Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does the Half Marathon event have pace runners?
A: No. Half Marathon pace runners will not be available for the event; however, a pace car will be utilized.
Q: What do I need to bring on Race Day?
A: All participants should wear their bibs, which should be clearly displayed while running. All participants planning to partake in the Beer & Wine Garden should bring a driver’s license or government issued ID.
Q: Where will Race Results be posted?
A: Race Results will be posted directly after the race by our timing company. Following the event, race results will be posted online.
Q: Can I register for this event at packet pick-up?
A: Yes. Packet pick-up is Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10-4pm (please note, t-shirt sizes are not guaranteed). If you sign up early, though, you’ll enjoy our Early Bird discount!
Q: Are there overnight accommodations at the race venue?
A: Yes. Please secure your reservation with CaliPaso early (there is a limited number of rooms!) by calling Jamie Glenn at (805) 226-9296. Be sure to let her know you are a Wine Country Runs participant!
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Sorry, no refunds or transfers are allowed.
Q: Will there be Aid Stations on the course?
A: Yes. Our staff will provide Aid Stations for runners along both the Half Marathon and 5K courses.
Q: Are pets allowed on the course?
A: No. The only exception are service dogs.
