Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does the Half Marathon event have pace runners?
A: No. Half Marathon pace runners will not be available for the event; however, a pace car will be utilized.
Q: What do I need to bring on Race Day?
A: All participants should wear their bibs, which should be clearly displayed while running. All participants will also need to download the app included in the registration packet to allow for times to be tracked and recorded…remember, 1st place male and female runners in the half marathon receive their WEIGHT IN WINE!! And don’t fret, you can also participant in the races without the app and still have a chance to win one of our many raffle prizes!
Q: Where will Race Results be posted?
A: Race Results will be posted on our results page.
Q: Are baby carriers or backpacks allowed on the course?
A: A positive in COVID with a virtual/hybrid race…Carriers and strollers are allowed!!!
Q: Are bikes, roller skates, or skateboards allowed on the course?
A: A positive in COVID with a virtual/hybrid race…any and all wheeled devices can be used for the 5K only! The half marathon does not allow these devices since only runners and walkers will be permitted.
Q: Can I register for this event at packet pick-up?
A: Yes. Packet pick-up will be the week of the race (more details to come as COVID protocols continue to change) and new participants can register for the race. (please note, t-shirt sizes are not guaranteed). If you sign up prior to September 1st, though, you’ll enjoy our Early Bird discount!
Q: Are there overnight accommodations at the race venue?
A: Yes. Please see our sponsor’s page for information on our preferred lodging close to the racecourse!
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Sorry, no refunds or transfers are allowed.
Q: Will there be Aid Stations on the course?
A: In normal years we have Aid Stations throughout the course. In efforts to keep everyone safe in 2021, we will not have stations along the course and recommend runners to plan accordingly. Please view our course map for the half marathon if you wish you stock the course with your own supplies prior to running.
Q: Are pets allowed on the course?
A: A positive in COVID with a virtual/hybrid race…any and all pets are allowed!
