The Race

The Wine Country Runs is set in the heart of California’s scenic Central Coast, an area famous for wineries, natural hot springs, pristine beaches, Hearst Castle and much more. Starting and ending at the beautiful CaliPaso Winery & Villa, the mostly paved course takes you over rolling hills, through picturesque vineyard roads and down along the Salinas River.

On Sunday, March 30, 2025 our runners will participate in the USATF sanctioned half marathon or the 10K.  Featuring on-site parking, chip timing and a fun and festive post-race party, Wine Country Runs is the premiere running event held in Northern San Luis Obispo County.

Post Race Party

We are proud to offer a complimentary breakfast to all registered participants!  Enjoy a breakfast burrito, fruit, coffee and juice while unwinding after the race on our expansive lawn, or in our serene courtyard. We have an assortment of picnic blankets available to use, or bring your own from home!

A flavorful selection of wine will be sold and provided by CaliPaso Winery. Please bring your ID.

Also, additional breakfast tickets may be purchased for family and friends during the post-race party at the merchandise table. All are invited to join the fun!
